Seems one of the wizards is a little untidy, no surprise there... I don't know why but they do just plonk their wares down without looking what's underneath. Maybe it's just wizards...although maybe this table belongs to a witch? I know some terribly messy witches too!
It looks like whoever's using this table is up to something special, I wonder what that could be? Probably trying to transmute something into something else, or maybe make a new potion? They might even be concocting a cure for something terribly contagious...or maybe just making themselves something to eat? They are only human after all...
This little table has loads of wizard stuff on it (or witch if she likes paraphernalia!), there are maps, scrolls, charts, crystals, a big book (non opening), some potion bottles, a bubbling cauldron, some glow grubs (to see in the dark), candles, toadstools, an old skull (why do wizards always have skulls?), a crystal ball, some plaques, a little pile of gold, a glass of wine (they also like a drink) and a rather handsome astrolabe for moon gazing I suppose ;o)
All of the wizard's (or witch's!) ;o) paraphernalia has been made by me, and includes items created from my vintage collection of stash (I'm a terrible hoarder but it does get used in the end!) The table has been painted brown and roughed up a little. ;o) All it needs now is someone to give it a good tidy up, then get moaned at from the wizard who won't be able to find anything...he he he...
This is a scale miniature, designed for collectors and, therefore, is not suitable for children. It is 1/12th scale...(1" = 1 foot) The table measures 2 1/2 inches high (6.5cm) and is almost 6 inches long (15cm) and 3 inches wide (7.5cm) approximately.

Darker Wizard's Table
This wizard (or witch) feels a little darker to me...there's just something about the paraphernalia on this little table which seems more 'serious'.
Of course even those more drawn to the darker side are messy too, as you can see, they think nothing of creating havoc whilst concocting!
I have no idea what it is he or she is up to here...after all I'm not a wizard but it does look interesting and I would love to become their apprentice ;o)
There are all sorts of goodies to play with (unless you take being a dark wizard very seriously!) there are scrolls, sealed secret stuff, charts and maps, a cauldron bubbling with something (I haven't looked inside, I'm a coward), a crystal ball, some tiny crystals, an astrolabe (maybe they're studying for the most potent time to work their mischief?), potion bottles in a little stand (removable) and other potions, a censer with real incense, the ubiquitous old skull, a big book featuring the Grim Reaper (non opening), candle, coins, fly agaric...there might be more hidden underneath the mess but I'm too scared to poke around ;o).
The table has been painted dark green and crackled in fine cracks (makes it look more appropriate to the task at hand, some wizards take their work very seriously)...now which one of us dares to give it a tidy up for the owner? (not it!) he he he

Potions Cupboard
What can I say...I love potions, every kind. I love sparkly things too but that's another tale...
This little potion cupbard (actually it's more of a dresser than a cupboard but it's artistic licence) ;o) is crammed full of the ingredients no wizard or witch should be without! There's the usual stuff like dragon scales and fairy dust and some stuff which may be mermaid scales (eugh) and some strangely coloured ingredients which (me just being an apprentice) I'm not really sure about.
The little pointy bottles are sitting in some removable shelves and can be used wherever the little postion user wants, there are also potions which just look pretty (well to me anyway) maybe they are for more romantic potions? (The lids of the pointy bottles are fixed in place to avoid messy accidents and the glue is still wet in the pictures, because I was impatient!) :o)
There are lots of scrolls (very helpful to an apprentice those!) and little plants and fly agaric (of course) and there's even a lovely cabbage (why you may ask?) well everyone knows that you can't make a good potion without cabbage!!!
There are tiny crystals inside the little drawers (again very useful) and a candle for those late nights concocting...the potion cupboard is painted green and crazed with fine cracks (it also matches the green table but that belongs to a darker wizard) and looks a little distressed, or maybe it just gets a lot of use? There's also a spell book (non-opening) but you can't see it in the picture (maybe it's hiding or it could be that I forgot to put it in the picture ;o))
All the little bits and bobs were created by me from my own potion collection which I borrowed from a very old wizard in 1665 (he he he, no really it's true, would I lie to you?) and should keep any little old witch or wizard happy for hours making and brewing potions...now where did I put that essence of pixie?...Ah, there it is, next to the dragon's blood...happy brewing! :o)
This is a scale miniature, designed for collectors and, therefore, is not suitable for children. It is 1/12th scale...(1" = 1 foot) The dresser measures almost 7 inches high (17.5cm) and is 4 inches wide (10.5cm) approximately.
