Astronomer's Table

Ah...those Astronomers and their strange instruments...

Sometimes you have to wonder if they really understand any of it.

All those maps of the skies...and those astrolabes...

Still...without them we wouldn't have any ideas of the how the Universe works...

I think that this one is a pretty smart cookie...either that or he's trying to impress someone!

This is a scale miniature, designed for collectors and, therefore, is not suitable for children.

It is 1/12th scale...(1" = 1 foot)

The table measures 2 1/2 inches high (6.5cm) and is almost 6 inches long (15cm) and 3 inches wide (7.5cm) approximately.

Wizard's Table

As every wizard knows, you just don't look the part unless you have the right paraphernalia.
Even those who are not so gifted in the magickal department will be able to impress, with their knowledge of the great mysteries, if they have the tools to make you believe in them.
A modest table, at first glance, but look closer and it reveals more than first perceived...
A jar of real Frankincense and a jar of real Myrrh, to cleanse the area and create the right amount of smoke to set the scene.
A pentagram tablet, discovered in an ancient ruin close to the Hollow, could be hung on the wall as a sign of your intent.
Aged scrolls and parchments; these hold the magickal formulae that every Sorcerer must learn if he is to become adept in his field.
A real quartz crystal to draw and store all the energy that is created.
A hand whittled wand to draw the protective circle.
A book with an attractive cover, this one has a rather fetching relief of the Grim Reaper on it!
A fat candle to light up those dark nights.
An altar pentacle to represent the element of earth.
A nice carafe of elderberry wine, as a libation.
And of course the obligatory human skull; no one actually knows why they appear so frequently but it's rumoured that a certain, Lord Byron, had something to do with it's popularity.
Everything shown is included and can be placed wherever you or your wizard friend wishes.
The book is sculpted clay, as is the skull.
The jars can be opened and used if you so wish, as they are the real thing.
The pentacle and pentagram tablets and the candle are sculpted clay.
The open scroll contains real writing but of course I am under oath never to reveal it's secret.
All that is needed now is the will to learn and a few hundred years to perfect your art!

The Alchemist's Table

Oh dear!
Looks like one of the wizards has been interupted in the middle of an experiment...wonder what they were trying to do this time?
Obviously they left in a hurry...maybe tea was ready...those Alchemists do love their tea.
Or maybe they have gone to get some more ingredients to add to their bottles...or maybe a secret scroll...mmm...very intriguing...curiouser and curiouser...

The Wizard's book is sculted from clay.
The bottles are filled with "secret alchemical concoctions".
The pages of script are real words written in code...secret, of course.
I've no idea what the thingummyjig is on the table...he wouldn't let me in on that secret!

Party Cakes Table

Another day of baking scrummy cakes...another day of eating scrummy cakes!
Looks like there's a party going on at the Hollow and there's going to be lots of cake!
Is it someone's birthday?
Of course not, look at the lollipops for a clue- and no it's not Easter!
Everything shown on the table is included, the cakes and lollipops are made from polymer clay, so is the little ghost.
Everything can be removed from the table but is attached to the plates.

Trick or Treat?

It's that time of the year again...

Pesky children bothering the old folks!

I thought that it would be nice to step back in time a little...to slow down the pace with a nice little old fashioned trick or treat...

Not a nasty spooky in sight...apart from the little ghosties...but you'd hardly call them scary now would you?

I love the idea of a vintage Halloween...before all of the Boo stuff became popular...after all...some folks just want to eat lots of cake and cookies at a party...not a gruesome eyeball...mind you...some folks like the odd finger for a Halloween treat...

Honestly...there's no accounting for taste ;o)

All of the goodies are hand made by me...from either polymer clay or paper.

There are all manner of delicious things to tempt...cakes, cookies, candy, lollipops...and bags to carry everything in.

Everything is removable for you to place in your own style...but the orange tablecloth is fixed to the table.

Now all repeat after me "Trick or Treat?"
